Sam's mission is to offer high-quality, engaging yoga sessions and coaching, accessible to and for everyone. She believes yoga and breath-work can help improve physical mental and emotional health and is committed to sharing her knowledge to make 'yoga' achievable and meaningful for everyone regardless of their experience, age or individual ability.
Practicing yoga since 2008, and teaching for more than 15 years, Sam stumbled upon a class as a way to manage stress. Quickly noticing the benefits, yoga become a regular part of her life, and lit-up the pathway for inner peace and freedom.
Indulging in all things yoga (and diving) she travelled to the Sinai desert in Egypt and discovered it's magic, depth and abundant energy. Whist there, she lived with a community of Bedouin families, this experience gave her a unique perspective on life and offered space for growth and reflection. This is where her teaching journey began.
Sam has been teaching since training with Sunra Yoga, (Sivananda Hatha) in 2011. Over the years her focus has shifted from just teaching regular group classes to more of a whole-person approach to health and wellbeing. Sam recently completed a Teaching Yoga for Cancer course which deepened her understanding of therapeutic yoga and opened-up a new area of interest, in adapting yoga to support people through a range of life challenges and health conditions.
“Yoga does not just change the way we see things, it transforms the person who sees. B.K.S. Iyengar
